There are five sub systems of ESM Visior Access Control.

Appointment System: This system allows creating a database of approved vendors. These are the Vendors /
Suppliers / Sub-Contractors etc. which are approved by the security department after proper scrutiny. Once these
databases are created, various authorized employees would be able to create appointments for these vendors. While
creating the appointments the employees can enter the details of visitors. You can create an appointment for a new
visitor but in that case an alert is generated at the Control Console. The security officer can approve or reject these
appointments.

Gate Pass Creation: This allows you to create the gate pass either through prior appointments or without appointments
(Workflow settable by the user). This option will fetch the information from the archival data and give a chance to take
the photograph of that person. This system offers you the option of storing the archival photographs and does not
require taking a new photograph every time you create the gate pass.

Time Stamp Terminals: Time stamp terminals are placed at various location in the organization. A visitor is expected to
go to the time stamp terminal and scan the barcode for time stamping. Similarly when he leaves the department, he is
suppose to be scanning the barcode and register his time out from that department. Digital Camera can be installed at the
time stamp terminals, which can send period response to the Control Console about the status of the Time Stamp
Terminal.

Check Out Terminal: Check out terminal is placed at the exit gate of an organization. It is used for recording the exit
time of a visitor. In case the gate pass of a person is not checked out an alert is generated and the security department is
informed about presence of a visitor within the organization after office hours.

Divert Appointment: A visitor may would like to visit various persons in the organization. In case he is visiting more
than one employee, it is possible for the employee to divert the appointment of the person to another employee. This has
two advantages, A visitor can not move around the place once he enters and an Employee from the organization can
control his movement within the office premise.
